Zaid scores 35 in victory for Lane men

SALEM — Usama Zaid shot 14-for-18 from the field and scored 35 points to lead Lane to a 100-95 victory over Chemeketa in an NWAC Southern Region men’s basketball game on Saturday.

Duce Namazi added 19 points and seven rebounds for the Titans. Chase Iwata-Bartelme added 14 points for Lane.

Collin Huun led the Storm with 23 points and Patrick Counts added 17.
