Wilcox free throws lift Titans past Peninsula

LAKEWOOD, Wash. — Kersey Wilcox’s two free throws with 27 seconds left gave Lane’s women a three-point lead they wouldn’t give up to defeat Peninsula 50-47 in the Pierce College Tournament semifinals on Saturday. The Titans face Clackamas today at 3 p.m. in the championship.

Wilcox finished with seven points for Lane (5-1), and teammate Courtney Walchli scored a game-high 16 points and had 11 rebounds.
