Whitaker Community Dinner Service

Each of the eight represented sports at Lane Community College helped make a difference in the lives of those in need at the Whitaker Community Dinner on Thanksgiving in Eugene, OR. The student-athletes collected a total of $584 in support of the event, which helped provide people with jackets, sleeping bags, toiletries, and warm clothing to make the colder winter nights in Lane County more bearable.   They also were able to help serve and provide encouraging words to those looking for a warm meal and without family on Thanksgiving.
