Titans finish second at Northwest Classic

Michael Maisonville ran the 4-mile course in 21 minutes, 16 seconds, and Lane finished second at the Northwest XC Classic on Saturday at their home course.

The Titans finished with 44 points to the UO Running Club’s first-place 26. Walker Augustyniak, running unattached, won the race in 21:04, and Robert McLauchlan of the UO Running Club was third in 21:22.

Lane’s Joe Campbell was 11th in 22:28, Daniel Silvey was 14th in 22:38, and Kyle Ruhlin was 17th in 22:47.

In the women’s race, Lane’s Gylany Crossman was third over the 5,000-meter course in 19:42, and teammate Rachel Jensen was sixth in 20:15.

The UO Running Club won the team title with 24 points, and Renee Knapp won the individual title in 18:48.
