OREGON CITY, OR - Lane continued to pile up the runs and came away with two more wins against Clackamas on Tuesday. David Guajardo pitched five innings and allowed three hits and three earned runs in the win for the Titans, and Martin Brown got the save.
The second game was the closest game between the two teams all season, but the outcome was the same in a 5-4 win for the Titans. Cody McDonald went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs, while Sam Kiesse went 2-for-3 scoring one run. Zach Eyster was the winning pitcher for the Titans with Parker Sherrel getting the save. Colton Wright pitched all seven innings in the loss for Clackamas. Even with the two victories, Lane remains seven games out of first in their division behind Mt. Hood and Chemeketa. Lane is scheduled to play its final regular season game away in a double-header against Linn-Benton (22-18, 14-14) on Thursday, 5/17 @ 1pm. When the two teams have met, they have split games each time and have a 2-2 record against one another this season.
