Stubbs, Davis win on Willamette second day

SALEM — Lane Community College sophomore Chris Stubbs won the 400 meters to highlight the Titans’ second-day performances at the Willamette Invitational track and field meet on Saturday.

Stubbs, out of Willamette High, won in 48.29 seconds. Another Lane sophomore, Katie Davis, won the women’s triple jump with a mark of 35 feet, 2 inches.
