Storm and Titans split games in double-header

EUGENE, OR - Lane Baseball faced Chemeketa in their third home game of the season and came away with one win and one loss.  In game one, Zach Eyster pitched the 6-4 win for the Titans with Zach Kayser got the save.  BJ Wilson had the loss for Chemeketa.  Alex Cornwell (pictured) had a big at bat with a triple in the bottom of the 8th inning to put Lane in the lead and also got a total of 3 RBIs.

In the second game, Lane couldn't compete with the 3 homeruns from Chemeketa in an 8-4 loss.  Michael DeSouza got the win for the Storm.  Parker Sherrell got the loss for the Titans.  After both games Lane is now 13-5 overall and 7-1 in the division, putting them 1 game ahead of Mt. Hood.  The Titans will face Mt. Hood (16-6, 6-2) at home on Saturday, 4/21 in a double-header starting @ 1pm.
