Silva, Lane sweep doubleheader from Linfield JV

MCMINNVILLE — Sammy Silva drove in two runs and had a stolen base to lead Lane to a 4-0 victory over Linfield’s JV in the opening game of a nonleague college baseball doubleheader on Saturday.

Austin Vaughn went 2-for-4 with two runs for the Titans.

In the second game, Logan Roberts went 2-for-4 with a triple an RBI and a run to lead Lane to a 5-1 victory.

David Bellamy had an RBI, a stolen base and scored a run for Lane (14-6).
