Red Devils drop Titans

LONGVIEW, Wash. — Lower Columbia College erupted for seven runs on seven hits to wipe out Lane’s 4-0 lead en route to a 9-6 NWAACC baseball victory in seven innings on Saturday at David Story Field.

The Red Devils (6-1) swept three games over two days from the Titans (2-3), with Saturday’s second game called because of rain in the first inning.

Blake Montague and Isaias Zerufael each had a double among Lane’s six hits. Malik Evans gave up six hits over six innings and took the loss.

The Titans next host Centralia in a doubleheader on Thursday.
