NWAACC hands out awards for fall sports

Four Titans earn honors

Four Titan athletes were recognized by the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges for their performances during the fall sports season and in the classroom.

NWAACC season assist-leader freshman forward Katie Bidwell was awarded to the NWAACC Southwest Division All-Star team. Bidwell was also named Female Titan Athlete of the Week twice during the season.

Freshman defender Samantha Michelson also made the Southwest All-Star team.

Two Titan athletes were also named to the NWAACC Sophomore All-Academic team.

Cross country runner Michael Bellamy was awarded due to his 3.77 GPA, and Brooke Fray, a midfielder for the women's soccer team, was awarded due to her 3.37 GPA.
