ROSEBURG, OR - The Lane Women's Basketball team got 24 points off of turnovers in a big 62-53 win over Umpqua on Wednesday night. The Titans outscored the Riverhawks 18-3 in three-pointers and had three ladies in double figures. Joleen Chanco had a big night with 16 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 steals. Megan Shields added 12 points and 8 rebounds, while Kersey Wilcox added 15 points and 5 assists. This victory puts them at 22-4, 12-1 on the year and clinches the Southern Region for the Titans with one game left in the regular season. They return home to play Portland (4-19, 0-12) at 4pm on Saturday, 2/25. They will then await their seeding for the NWAACC Championship Tournament March 3-6 in Kennewick, WA.
