Lane takes two from Roadrunners

Andrew Schumacher drove in three runs, Kyle Hoover drove in two, and Josh Orr struck out seven over five innings in Lane Community College’s 8-3 baseball win to start a doubleheader sweep of Linn-Benton on Thursday.

The host Titans (16-12) won the second game 3-1 behind the pitching of Scott Allred, who allowed a run on four hits in six innings. Ran Berger and Matt Myrmo each had an RBI.
