Lane rolls to victory in Bates tourney

Nick Lindsey scored 14 points and Levi Stranberg added 13 to lead Lane Community College to an 89-46 victory over the Linfield JV in the first round of the Dale J Bates Tournament on Friday night at Lane.

Archie Garrett added nine points for the Titans, who led 40-31 at halftime and then held the Wildcats to just 22 percent shooting in the second half.
