Kirschbaum leads LCC into finals

EVERETT, Wash. — Zach Kirschbaum scored 19 points and Dale Baker added 10 to lead Lane Community College to a 70-69 men’s basketball victory over Spokane on Saturday night to reach the finals of the Everett Crossover Tournament.

Dyrall Goods added nine points for the Titans (7-3), who will play Clark College at 4 p.m. today for the championship of the eight-team tournament.

Lane rallied from a 33-27 halftime deficit by shooting 51.4 percent from the field over the final 20 minutes.

Kirschbaum also had a team-high eight rebounds.

Kwinn Hanson led the Bigfoot with 18 points.
