Fielder powers Lane to Titan Classic crown

Rachel Fielder had 27 points and eight rebounds, and Taeli Carrillo came off the bench to add 16 points and seven steals as the Lane women’s basketball team routed Pierce College 107-67 on Sunday to capture the six-team Titan Classic with a 3-0 record.

Fielder was named the tourney most valuable player and Carrillo earned all-tournament honors.

Sierra Carrier had 22 points off the bench on 10-of-13 shooting and added six rebounds for Lane. Megan Still had nine points, four rebounds, four assists and five steals.
