Cranor, Hallock lead multi-events for Lane

Lane Community College’s Thomas Cranor and Kara Hallock held the lead in the decathlon and heptathlon, respectively, after the opening day of competition at the Lane Multi Qualifier meet hosted by the Titans on Saturday.

Hallock, a freshman from Lebanon, won three of her four events on Saturday to compile 2,623 points.

Cranor, a sophomore from Eugene, had 3,230 points after five events, including a win in the long jump at 20 feet, 1 inch.
