Comeback ensures a win for Titans men

Lane rallied from an eight-point halftime deficit for a 69-65 Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges men’s basketball victory over Portland at the LCC gym on Saturday.

Levi Strandberg led the Titans (17-4, 5-2) with 12 points, and Alex MacNeil and Byron Johnson added 11 each in a game that had 10 ties and 18 lead changes.

Lane outscored Portland 22-7 off the bench and had a 30-18 edge in points off turnovers.

Warren Edmondson scored 23 points to lead the Panthers (7-12, 3-4), and Marcus Bailey had 17.
