Coleman leads Lane into Bates final

Tyler Coleman scored 18 points and Levi Stranberg added 15 to lead Lane Community College to an 82-71 victory over Southwestern Oregon in the semifinals of the Dale J. Bates Tournament on Saturday night.

The host Titans will face Spokane in the tournament final at 2 p.m. today.

Aaron Fernandez scored 25 points to lead the Lakers.
