Chemeketa nips Lane in soccer

SALEM — Elena Acosta scored in the 83rd minute to give Chemeketa a 1-0 women’s soccer victory over Lane Community College on Saturday.

The loss left the Titans, who have already clinched an NWAACC playoff berth at 7-7-3 overall and 6-6-1 in the Southern Region.
