EUGENE, OR - The Titan Baseball team snapped a seven-game losing streak with two big victories over the Clackamas Cougars at home. Lane held Clackamas to one hit in game one, and got thirteen of their own for an 8-0 victory. Shaun Boehm and Nic Coffman went 2-for-4 each getting a double and 3 of Lane's RBIs. Colben McGuire pitched seven innings and allowed the lone hit in the win. Colton Wright allowed ten hits in six innings in the loss for the Cougars.
Despite five errors and eight runners left-on-base, the Titans' thirteen hits equated to thirteen runs for 13-3 victory in game two. Nic Coffman (pictured) pitched three hitless and scoreless innings, and helped his cause with a homerun. Several Titans had good showings at the plate with Coffman and Boehm leading again, each getting four RBIs. Lane now 10-8 sits at third in their division and 16-12 overall. Their next game will be an away double-header against Linn-Benton (15-12, 8-8) on Tuesday, 5/1 @ 1pm. Lane split games with the Roadrunners in the last outing.
